Your day will look like this:
- Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems according to engineering specifications and blueprints;
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using various tools and techniques;
- Select appropriate materials and fittings based on project requirements;
- Weld, braze, solder, or use mechanical joints to connect pipes and create secure and leak-free joints;
- Conduct pressure and leakage tests to verify the integrity of piping systems;
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Spoken English;
- Experience as a pipe fitter, preferably in industry or construction settings (advantage);
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams and plans;
- Knowledge of welding and joining techniques such as soldering, brazing and welding;
- Relevant certificates or training in pipe fitting and welding (advantage);
- Detail-oriented mindset and commitment to producing high-quality work;
- B-category driving licence (car provided).
