We are looking for a Maintenance Technician - Troubleshooter.
Your main tasks will be to analyze and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and automated systems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance and optimize production lines in terms of efficiency and quality. You will work with a team of skilled technicians to ensure that Volvo continues to be a leader in automotive innovation, including electrification and autonomous driving.
Main Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting: Analyze and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, PLC and other automated systems.
Optimization: Improve production lines to increase productivity, quality and reliability.
Maintenance: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
Repair: Identify, repair or replace faulty systems or components such as sensors and motors.
Requirements
Analytical skills:
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Flexibility:
Willingness to work shifts (morning/evening) and continuous night shifts.
Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Practical experience in the automotive industry.
Knowledge of automated production lines and PLC controlled machines (eg Siemens TiA, ABB, SattLine).
Education:
Technical education or equivalent experience, ideally a bachelor's degree in energy technology, electromechanics or similar field.
Or specialization in electrical installation technique or measurement and control technique.
Language skills:
Communication English skills at B2-C1 level.
Preparation to learn Dutch (Volvo provides language courses).
We offer:
Gross hourly starting rate: €24.59.
Net monthly: approximately €2600 for early/late shifts and €2900 for night shifts,
Accommodation in single rooms,
Bonus for working in shifts or at night,
Belgian employment contract.
