Our client is looking for a qualified and certified welder and pipe fitter to join a team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the welding and installation of pipes for a variety of systems, ensuring a high quality of work and following safety protocols. These duties include reading blueprints, interpreting technical drawings, and working with a variety of materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and other alloys.
Main duties:
Welding and Fabrication:
• Carry out welding work using the GTAW technique on a variety of metal materials including carbon steel, stainless steel and alloys.
• Fabricate, assemble and repair pipes, fittings and related components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all welds meet ASME or PED standards while maintaining dimensional accuracy, alignment and material integrity.
• Accurately measure, cut, thread and install piping according to drawing specifications.
• Install, maintain and repair high pressure pipelines.
• Ensure proper alignment, fitting and installation of all piping and components.
Requirements
• Valid welding (ASME and ISO) and pipe fitting certificates.
• Good knowledge of ASME and PED standards and regulations.
• A minimum of 5 years of welding and pipe fitting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in manufacturing and assembling high pressure equipment.
• Ability to fluently read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and welding symbols.
• Good knowledge of welding processes, materials and equipment.
